This pane is free for everyone. It configures the Workspace Overview, a zoomed-out, bird's-eye view of every workspace on every display, rendered as live Metal thumbnails.

Overview Mode

Using the overview

Click to focus: click any workspace thumbnail to switch to it.
Drag between workspaces: grab a window thumbnail and drop it on another workspace; dropping between two workspaces creates a new column, and dropping past the last one creates a new empty workspace.
Cross-screen drag: drag windows between displays during the overview.

💡 All Hotkeys Still Work

The overview does not disable your keybinds. Every FazerWM hotkey still works while the overview is open: move columns, switch workspaces, send windows to another display, toggle tabbed or monocle mode, resize. The overview refreshes instantly after each change, so you can rearrange everything from the bird's-eye view.

Keyboard navigation

While the overview is open, these bare keys (no modifiers) are active:

💡 Trackpad gesture

The overview gesture action can toggle the overview with a trackpad swipe, but it is unbound by default. Bind it (for example, overview: "4-up") in the Gestures pane if you want a swipe trigger. Two-finger swipes also navigate inside the open overview when overlay swipe is enabled there.
