FazerWM is the scrollable-tiling window manager for macOS. Windows never overlap. Each workspace is an infinite horizontal strip of columns that scrolls past the screen edge, with multiple independent workspaces per display. Every action works with keys, mouse, or trackpad.
Rules and memory do the arranging: match windows by app or title, group them as tabs, and every display setup comes back exactly as you left it. All of it lives in a real settings app.

Toggle any column between vertically tiled and tabbed. Windows share space as vertical tab indicators.
Each display setup’s arrangement is remembered. Dock, undock, or wake from sleep: every window goes back to the monitor it belonged to. On a brand-new display setup, Pro rehomes every window by role.
Every option lives in a polished settings app; you never have to touch a config file. Power users can still edit the YAML directly, with hot-reload on save.

Every new window tiles as a new column right after the focused one. Off-screen columns are parked hidden, never shrunk to fit on screen.
Drag a title bar to rearrange. Drop at a column edge to open a new column, above or below a window to stack vertically, or in the center to merge as a tab (Pro). Live indicators show where it will land.
Every layout move works three ways: a Hyper chord, a mouse drag, or a trackpad swipe configurable from settings. Split, insert, reorder, resize, or cross displays. Drag-to-tab, whole-column drags, and gestures are Pro.

FazerWM's multiple display handling is a step up from macOS's defaults.
Each display has its own workspaces and viewport, so switching one monitor never disturbs the others. Keybinds or drag to move windows and columns between displays. Pro adds intelligent rehoming of windows on multiple display setups.

Snap utilities move windows but don't keep them arranged. Open-source tilers keep them arranged, but you pay for it with config files and keyboard-only workflows. FazerWM keeps windows arranged, puts its settings in a GUI, gives you a visual overview, and you can control it with the mouse or the keyboard.

Every version released while you were subscribed keeps working forever, on the Macs that were set up on your license when it ended. You can remove Macs after that, but adding or re-adding one needs an active subscription — resubscribe (at loyalty pricing) to add Macs or get newer versions.
It depends on the tier: Single User covers 1 Mac; Family covers up to 5 Macs in your home; Small Business covers up to 5 Macs for commercial use. While your subscription is active you can deactivate a Mac and activate another any time. Need more than 5 at once? Write to us.

Yes, while your subscription is active: deactivate in Settings → Pro on one Mac and activate it on another, within your tier’s Mac limit. After your subscription ends, the Macs that were set up keep working and you can remove them, but activating a new or previously removed Mac requires resubscribing.

FazerWM restores minimized windows immediately, so every window keeps its place in its column and workspace and you always know where to find it. To put a window away, move it to another numbered or named workspace (Pro), or press Hyper+Z to hide all tiled windows for a moment.
No. Every layout change applies instantly, with no transition animations to wait out. The animations on this website are slowed down so the moves are readable; the app itself just snaps.
